Looking quite a bit healthier than last time. Also, tea. @cutiespoonies
It seems I can’t stay away! Don’t worry, I haven’t been readmitted; it was only for my weekly blood test.
I’m heading home now to relax on the computer and do very little until after lunch when I’m planning on making gluten-free brownies.
Actually made it to bed before half nine. I’m up early tomorrow for the first time since getting out of hospital because I need to go back to the hospital for my weekly blood test for my mercaptopurine. It’ll be hard but I’ll manage.
My curiosity is getting the better of me. If you are a Spoonie, please reblog with your location in the tags (city, state or your countries equivalent).
Maybe you’ll find a local Spoonie to befriend? Maybe I’ll just sate my curiosity.

Right now I’m visiting near Covington Georgia… But I’m typically in Monticello/Mansfield area.
Where I’m staying depends on which Drs i’m mainly going to be seeing for a while.
28 year old spoonie from Hampshire, UK.
I had a lay in until about midday when I had to get up to take my afternoon meds (which required me to eat something). I managed some cereal even though my stomach was still aching and bloated from yesterday. I was able to do a little house work as well, but nothing too physical, and have been relaxing on Youtube since.
After making the mistake of having both fruit and veg yesterday, I decided to try eating things like crisps and pizza instead to see if these would be less painful. Although I haven’t eaten as much, I’m not hurting at the moment. I’m slightly bloated still but I guess we won’t know for definite until tomorrow.
I’m going to try and remain positive today. My stomah is still hurting from having eaten too much/the wrong thing yesterday and I’m still tired but I’m not going to go back to bed and I’m going to try and do something other than sit on the sofa and watch TV all day. If I can get back into a normal day-off routine, then I might start to feel a bit more normal and be able to do more things like going back to work.
Still feeling tired but I’ve managed to distract myself sufficiently this evening by playing a little World of Warcraft and watching some YouTube videos. I think I’ve accidentally made myself feel worse by just watching TV for the last couple of day and not actually doing anything to take my mind off my UC. I may even try cooking some gluten-free brownies on Monday so I’ve got snack for the week. It makes me really happy when I cook.
Just spent the last couple of hours distracting myself with making these spoonie-related bracelets. I might have a go at making generic ones later but I wanted to make these first. I’m feeling a bit more positive now.

Look what arrived in the post! I’ve decided to try something creative while I’m stuck at home so I got beads, thread and clasps off the Internets.
