I made it to Lou Lou’s Vintage Fair today and got a couple of really cute rings. I’m a bit tired now though from all the walking so I think I’ll be having a quiet day indoors tomorrow.

On the train home after having such a great time yesterday; the wedding ceremony was beautiful and the venue for the breakfast/reception was gorgeous. I surprised myself with not needed my stick at all. I didn’t really want to use it so I left it in the hotel room (thinking I’d regret it) but actually, I was fine without it. It’s not like we did a lot of walking but there was plenty of standing which usually would cause my stomach muscles to ache after a while. Not yesterday though; I was able to stand and be sociable without needing to lean on anything/anyone. By the end of the day, I was tired but not achy or stiff as I usually am after a long day. I’m quite proud of myself.

All dressed and ready to go.

Made it to the hotel in one piece. I’m not feeling tired like I thought I would but we’re taking it easy for the rest of the afternoon anyway. There’s a restaurant right next door so we won’t have to go far for dinner tonight.

We’re on our way to Milton Keynes for a friends wedding.
This is the first time I’ll be staying elsewhere with my ostomy bag so I’ve made sure to pack extra bags and stuff, just in case. I’m looking forward to the next couple of days even though I know I’ll be worn out by the end of it.

I had a really good day out on my own today. I got everything I wanted to do done and, even though I’m a little tired and my hip kept hurting all the way home, I’m feeling alright. I’ll probably be tired tomorrow too but I’m not up to much until the afternoon anyway.
Also, I found this adorable poop emoji take out cup. I couldn’t resist it’s adorableness!
I made it out to town on my own today! I needed to run a few errands so I figured I see how much I could do without pushing it. I’m taking a break in Costa at the moment because my hips started aching but I’ll be heading home soon anyway.
I went out with my stick, of course, and I thought I’d be more self-conscious with it but actually I’ve been ok. I’ve gotten a few stares from the odd passer-by but no ones commented or anything which I’m very grateful for; I’d rather not have to explain my situation to complete strangers.
TMI warning!
I had to change my bag early (this evening, instead of tomorrow morning) because it wasn’t emptying properly; the output was too heavy and wasn’t moving down the bag. It seems to be doing it again but not as badly as before. I’ve been drinking loads of squash this evening and I’ve just had tea and chocolate, both of which are good for loosening the output. I don’t think I’ll get a blockage but I’m keeping a close eye on it, just in case.
You can’t be bothered to get out of bed to empty your ostomy bag even though the weight of it on your stomach is keeping you awake.

Thank you @thatchronicfeeling, this was helpful. I hadn’t thought about the entry queue; it’s usually quite long after advanced ticket entry (which we do have, thankfully). They had a seating area near the food stales last year so I’m hoping they’ll do something similar this year. I’ll keep an eye out for a map, sometimes they release it early so you get an idea of what there’ll be in the sellers halls. There are plenty of toilets as well and they have pretty big signs above them so I shouldn’t have any trouble finding one.
I highly recommend going to comic con if you can. The London one is huge; it takes up almost all of the London ExCel centre (which is a massive building), and is over three days now. I got my Totoro keyring from there a few years ago.
