I went to the doctors for an ECG this afternoon because my resting heart rate has been abnormally high (between 100-130 bpm) since leaving the hospital. The nurse said although it’s steady, it is high so she showed my doctor and said it could be that my potassium levels have dropped again so I’m going to have a blood test tomorrow morning. I may have to start eating more bananas.

Another check-in

The doctor has just been round. He want to do a few more blood tests and stop the colesevelam for now because it’s not really doing much for me. He also spoke about my infusions again so the possibility of them changing it is looking more likely. They might want to do a flexi tomorrow but it’s otherwise steroids for today.

I’ve got a doctors appointment tomorrow morning but I don’t know what for; the surgery called me and asked me to make one but not with my normal GP. I’m assuming it’s just a general checkup because of what’s been going on with me over the last few months. Hopefully nothing serious but I’ll update either way.
